Warp Strings: The Word String
In my new fiction novel, the Weave of Realms, the Word String is one component of the Weave, the separator and connector of all reality. The Word String is one warp string made of many lesser threads twisted together, just like the Spirit string and Light String.
The Threads of the Word Warp String
The Warp String is based loosely on the idea of speech being introduced into the cosmos early in the creation story told in the Hebrew bible.
“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. 2The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. 5God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.” Genesis 1:1-4
Word orders the material world.
Psalm 33:6 "By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, and all the stars by the breath of His mouth."
As I have said before, God’s act of creating the heavens and earth was an act of choice, an exercise of free will to extract from every possible iteration of proposed reality, from infinite possibilities, just one path forward.
Thread One: Desire
Desire begins in the heart.
Proverbs 4:23 advises, "Guard your heart with all diligence, for from it flow springs of life"
the Creator’s pleasure, what he chose as Good, He declares and it is accomplished.
Isaiah 46:10, God declares, "I declare the end from the beginning, and ancient times from what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and all My good pleasure I will accomplish.’"
Thread Two: Choice
As I flushed out in the Light String entry, Light is connected to choice; choosing which potential out of the infinite potentials is worthy of our focus and illumination. Word is essentially taking that choice that was made of focus and calling it to the forefront. Word is connected to action, a doing that represents the choice you’ve made. This thread isn’t focused so much on what comes from the mouth rather what you believe and comes out of you as evidence, what you truly desire being called out by your action.
James 1:19-26 “19Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger;20for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. 21Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. 22But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. 24For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. 25But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing. 26If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person’s religion is worthless.”
Proverbs 12:14,18-19, 20 14From the fruit of his mouth a man is satisfied with good, and the work of a man’s hand comes back to him…18There is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. 19Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment…22Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who act faithfully are his delight.
Thread Three: Tongue/Written Word
The book of Proverbs if full of wisdom and chapter 18 tells us much about the tongue and speech. It tells of the warning of being foolish with you words and the importance words have.
Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue…”
James also tells of the power of Words.
James 3:3-10 “3If we put bits into the mouths of horses so that they obey us, we guide their whole bodies as well. 4Look at the ships also: though they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are guided by a very small rudder wherever the will of the pilot directs. 5So also the tongue is a small member, yet it boasts of great things. How great a forest is set ablaze by such a small fire! 6And the tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life,a and set on fire by hell.7For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and sea creature, can be tamed and has been tamed by mankind, 8but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. 9With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of God. 10From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers,c these things ought not to be so.”
Proverbs 12: 6-23 “6 The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood, but the mouth of the upright delivers them..."
Regarding the Word of God
Hebrews 4:12 "living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword, piercing even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart."
Thread four: declaration/revelation
The High Realm, the home of the Elder race in my novel is able to understand and appreciate as well as utilize Word. They participate with in the Weave with the Creator in revealing the Creator to the Second Realm. An idea that isn’t discounted by scripture.
Psalm 19: 1-4 “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky abovea proclaims his handiwork. 2Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. 3There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard. 4Their voiceb goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.
Like with this verse and many others, speech is connected with knowledge.
Proverbs 12:17Whoever speaksb the truth gives honest evidence, but a false witness utters deceit…23A prudent man conceals knowledge,
but the heart of fools proclaims folly.

In my novel, the Orders which connect readily to the Word Warp String are the Makers and Breakers. They have the desire and intentions to create and de-create in the natural as well as the unseen places of the mind and heart. They act out in the outer sphere that which speaks to their inner sphere.
